Born during one winter lunch hour, her parents declared that 'this one'll do', and thus began her promising career of being the First Born.  Her childhood in Hong Kong was idyllic and charming, where she gained plenty of attention and nasty looks from teachers during class.  She was also extremely popular with her peers, being always the last one to be picked for any activities (and let's face it, they always save the best for last).

In her teens, her parents decided to move to Australia as 'the fishing's great over there'.  Somehow she got herself an university degree, and had worked in a variety of professions including hospitality, writing for television, artist modelling, graphic design, retail  and as a youth carer.

Always been an avid writer (just check out her high school journals full of emotionally mature and poignant poetry), she had decided to join HubPages for the opportunity to belong to a community of interesting, talented and eclectic writers.

In her spare time, she enjoys music (jazz through to punk), knitting, beer and cultivating her well known allergic reactions to her cats.  Luckily she has a understanding and supportive partner.
